What is the College Zone

 

The CZ in located in the counseling center in the main building of the Central High school across from the main office.  The goal of the CZ is to provide opportunity for every CHS student to prepare for, be accepted, and attend college. We define “college” as anything a student does after high school to better themselves through education or training via two or four year colleges, vocational or technical schools, or the military.

 

* Research/explore colleges, schools, and careers

* Take career interest inventories

* Register for SAT and ACT tests online and access free online study/prep

* Apply online to colleges and schools

* Research and apply for scholarships

* Complete financial aid forms – FAFSA
