Spinal Screenings

The Texas Department of State Health Services has changed the requirements for Spinal Screenings for the 2018-2019 school year. To comply with the Health and Safety Code, Chapter 37, we will now screen female students in 5th and 7th grade and male students in 8th grade. 

 

 

If you would like to have your student op-out of the school spinal screening and be screened by their physician, or if your student has been previously diagnosed with scoliosis, you must bring proof from your student's physician to the Health Office.
