CHS Library Mission Statement:

The CHS library is an informational and exploratory center where students are free to learn, create, and share information and where teachers and librarian can collaborate toward the ultimate goal of student success.

This library seeks to meet the needs of the school community by providing the best resources, supporting the curriculum in every instructional area, and accommodating the informational needs of the students and staff of Central High School.

Writer's Club

Writer’s Club is Central High School’s Creative Writing Club. We meet every other Friday in the Library at lunch. This image is a flyer for the Creative Writer's club. On the right is a person sitting at a desk with a pencil in one hand, raised, and a notebook in front of them. Above it says "Writer's Club" and there is a purple pencil for decor and scattered stars.

  • Feel free to work on your own projects or on one of the prompts provided.
  • Provide feedback to other student writers and get feedback in return.
  • Grow in your writing ability in a safe space designed for creativity and critical thinking.
